The badge of The Staffordshire Regiment (The Prince of Wales's) against the black of their stable belts. Formed in 1959 by the amalgamation of The South Staffordshire Regiment, and The North Staffordshire Regiment (The Prince of Wales's), the regiment is now the 3rd Battalion, The Mercian Regiment.
