The badge of The Worcestershire and Sherwood Foresters Regiment against a background of their stable belt colours. The regiment was formed in 1970 by the union of The Worcestershire Regiment, and The Sherwood Foresters (Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire Regiment). In 2007 the regiment amalgamated with The Cheshire Regt and The Staffordshire Regt to form The Mercian Regiment.
